From 1996 to 2004 Executive Chairman of the National Agency for Radioactive Waste Management (ENRESA). First President of the International Association for the Environmental and Safety Management of Radioactive Materials (EDRAM) and board member of the National Laboratory for Energy (CIEMAT).
